7th November 2011 sees the broadcast of our 400th edition of WORKTALKweekly. Our first one was broadcast on 5th November 2001. So our 400th edition also celebrates our 10th anniversary.
All 400 editions are now housed in our brand new, searchable online archive.
Will you join with us in celebrating this remarkable milestone? Here are five options for you!
1) Make a birthday gift. WORKTALKweekly is a free service. Help us keep it that way by making a birthday celebratory gift. Please visit www.worktalk.gs/give and joyfully give!
If you set up a regular gift, that will help us even more to serve you going forwards.
November is our month of appeal every year, so why not help us make it the best month of appeal ever.
2) Recommend a friend. Send this link now to a friend or friends and invite them to sign up for themselves www.worktalk.gs/membership.
WORKTALKweekly started off with just under a hundred subscribers. Now we go to several thousands. We can send to tens of thousands, but we will need you to help us do that. Why not help us on this birthday occasion get the blessing multiplied to many other people.
3) Send us an email testimony. Why not make a comment about any WORKTALKweekly and tell us how it has blessed you over the years. Email Marta on comms@worktalk.gs with your comments
4) Tweet or Facebook
Make a comment on our Twitter or Facebook page and start a discussion about the WORKTALKweekly
5) If you are a pastor or church leader, email us to inquiry about our group registration service. We will design a template with your logo on it for your church members. Email Marta on comms@worktalk.gs for more information.
We, as chairmen, want to pay tribute to Geoff Shattock for his work in writing these pieces for you each week for the last 10 years. We have looked at the Sermon on the Mount, travelled on Roads Best Travelled, looked at Psalms, explored Christmas at work, coped with Stress, and, of course, sat at the foot of the cross for many weeks. We are grateful to Geoff for his continued dedication and creativity in this ministry.
We see WORKTALKweekly as a central part of WORKTALK’s ministry, and so please pray prayers of thanks for the last 10 years and 400 editions, and pray for Geoff and the team as they produce more for you.
Happy Birthday, WORKTALKweekly, happy 400th edition, and happy archive browsing!
In Jesus Name,
Simon Constantine
